On January 10th, the Perdigões Archaeological Complex was classified as a national monument. Located in one of the properties of Esporão, Herdade dos Perdigões, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, this is one of the most important archaeological sites in Portugal. Since 1997 an extensive research project has been developed, with the safeguarding and valorisation of the heritage, led by ERA Arqueologia and supported by Esporão.
